Rocket earned his Senior Hunter title when he was just two and half years old, and then we went on to try Obedience (the first time in the obedience ring for either of us) and he earned his CD in 3 shows in 2 days!
By earning his Show Championship (Ch), Senior Hunter (SH) and Novice Obedience (CD) titles Rocket earned the Vizsla Club of America's Versatility Certificate (VC) in June 2007.
Lately we've been competing in Rally and in November 2008 he earned the 10th Double Q required for his RAE title (I'm sure he would say that this happened in spite of his handler;-)
Rocket's new love is Agility class - he's so fast I'm having to learn to handle him from a distance 'cause there's no way I can keep up - but we're both having a blast with it...(except he doesn't see the point of slowing down for the weave poles...)
We are also looking forward to going back to the field this fall to continue working towards the Master Hunter title. And someday in the not too distant future, we plan on playing (ok, some call it competing, but I say if it ain't fun why do it) in Agility and more Obedience.
