Before you adopt a vizsla, please do your research, ask lots of questions, and most of all, be honest with yourself about the amount of time you can dedicate to your new dog. Vizslas are gaining in popularity because they are handsome, short-haired and generally well-tempered dogs. They can also be clingy, hyper, aggressive and/or prone to health problems if they are not well bred and well socialized.

Be wary of puppies from "puppy mills" or "backyard breeders". (google these terms if you're not sure how to recognize them.)

I recommend that you read the article "Information for Prospective First-Time Vizsla Owners" by Mary K. Chelton. You can find it under "Articles" at the www.vizsladogs.com website. The article has a list of "Questions to Ask Your Breeder" that you should review before you start talking to breeders.
